The Barclays - PGA TOUR

Paramus, NJ - 2010

Proteus On-Demand provided the VIP hospitality pavilion on the 18th green at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ for the 2010 Barclays tournament.  This tournament marks the beginning of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

The 16,335 square foot Delta Vista structure, built on more than 30 feet of scaffolding, provided VIP guests with both climate controlled hospitality space and open air canopy stadium seating. The Delta Vista features bold, panoramic, horizontal, glass panels were made so that guests can also watch the excitement from inside with an unobstructed view.  The outdoor grandstand seated 550 guests on padded theatre style seats.  The technologically advanced roofing system not only stands out because of its visual appeal, but also proves to minimize wind disturbances, essentially making it a sound proof structure. Cranes were used to raise the tensioned Delta roof system on top of the 20 foot side walls.  Low bay lights, glass doors with push bar egress, cassette floor system, ADA ramps, carpet floor covering, and a HVAC system were also incorporated into the temporary structure.

The Delta Vista enabled guests to socialize, enjoy refreshments from the bar and buffet, and watch live action from the rest of the course on flat screen televisions throughout the venue.

Three 6m x 6m Chalet structures were also constructed by Proteus to provide separate space for Executive offices, store, reception area, and catering areas.  The Proteus foremen and labor team built the four structures in 12 days and dismantled in 10 days.
